Tihany

Hotel is a bit dated, but the rooms are ok. Food is excellent, varied selection. Hotel is on the beach, with many free sun loungers. Spa is spacious with a large indoor swimming pool, 2 jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, infra-red cabin. This all mitbenützen. We enjoyed this holiday and would highly recommend it. Read more

Cleanliness in our room lacking. Example: After our son a stain on the bed sheets left, the sheets not changed. After 2 days we put them on the floor and only then was it changed. A friendly family on a different floor was but happy. The entrance into the lake is sadly only over steps possible, then already about 1,1m deep water. So only partially suitable for small children. The hotel is a little bit old, but very well equipped with swimming pool, spa pool, sauna and massage. The hotel is very close to the beach and with rent beach chairs and umbrellas. You could also bathrobe and towels. If you want to go to Balatonfüred you didn't have to walk but there were many cheaply by tram trains. This hotel I would recommend to all. German speaking front desk. Always friendly. All wishes were on the same day done. Food ( half board ) is very good. for the price you can't ask for more. It is however clean. Every request was on the same day done.
