Recently renovated rooms with a refrigerator,safe,private bathroom,shower.Each room has access to a private balcony and some rooms also have access to a wrap-around deck area with spectacular views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.The dining room is spacious and colorful with attached bar for after dinner drinks.A double round pool is surrounded by beautiful vegetation including various types of Palms, Hybiscus and exotic fruit trees.The guests ranged from young couples, families and couples of varying ... We had a fantastic time as it suited the whole family. My only minor complaint is that I don't drink instant coffee which meant I could not have coffee with my breakfast and had to wait for one of the bars to open at 10am. Read more

We were accommodated at this hotel as a last minute change. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the standard of the hotel and grounds was excellent. Only 2 (very) minor complaints. Firstly, at breakfast, the pastries were poor, with most being rather dry. A new supplier is needed - particularly for croissants! Secondly, the hanging space in the bedrooms was limited - if you were staying for 2 weeks then this would be a problem. But otherwise, excellent. Read more

If you like contemplating watching true Mediterranean blue and magnificent sea sunsets, Rocca di Tropea and Rocca Nettuno hotels are located very well for it on the high west coast of southern Italy. In the middle of October the weather is sunny and warm for pleasant sunbathing and the water temperature is still fine for swimming.
For the price for full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) the food was adequate, but personally, I would opt for skipping the lunch and have the better qualit... Read more

we had an excellent stay at La Bussola in a big room with a balcony with view on the see. Very friendly people, very helpfull. The manager speaks English very well, the rest a little, as almost everywhere in the south of Europe. But with a booklet and some effort you can learn very quickly the essential lines in a foreighn language. We can recommand the boattrip to the Aeolian islands. The service of the hotel is perfect. We saw some dolphins and the Stromboli pleased us with an eruption.
