The hotel has a very relaxws friendly atmosphere. The evening meals were better than excellent and there is a very good wine list, wide range of different wines. The packed lunches provided for our walks were very sustaining (two filled rolls, fruit and cake). I particularly liked the cake with the cranberry jelly/jam topping. Tastefully decorated, comfortable individually styled bedrooms, the hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Public rooms reflect the impeccable taste of the owners; Christian & Helene. A great place really. Full of interesting odds and ends plus a lot of scary Jesus stuff which I rather liked. The bedroom could have done to be a bit bigger for a twin room as we kept bumping into stuff. This is very picky though as generally the whole place is excellent and we were made very welcome.
