Rooms are well maintained and offer full bathroom, safe, minibar, TV and balcony.
Kettles are available on request. Housekeeping was of highest standard
Breakfast included bacon, sausage, and omelettes. Cereals, cold meats and cheese
and a lovely selection of breads.
The evening meals were exceptionally good with a veggie option. Good wellness centre with open air hot tub.
All our rooms had all we expected. No complaints at all.

Lovely Victorian period, traditional Swiss Hotel. Loads of character. Rooms were fairly basic but quite adequate and very clean. Very well refurbed bathroom, loads of hot water and fresh clean towels.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Furniture was old but in keeping with the Victorian style hotel. Rooms had a safe, hairdryer, writing desk and "easy chairs" and table. Our room was a good size and had glorious sunny views of the mountain range and into the Lauterbrunnen valley below.

Well positioned hotel in the centre of Wengen
BEST WESTERN Hotel Silberhorn in Wengen, Bernese Oberland
Initial impressions were that the reception areas and rooms were "tired" and in need of redecoration but they were still very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
We were on half board and the food and service were exemplary.
The spa and dining room are obviously new additions but provide very impressive contemporary facilities. It is a shame that the rest of the hotel does not reflect this standard.

I must first, I negative reviews not understand can! There are guests, were spoiled and which one can make it anyway never right. No matter how you make an effort.
to the negative reviews: is the next time in a 5 * or six star hotel! There you will find the comfortable, homey atmosphere not found.
Bad was also, that in the morning early still no transportation from the hotel to the train station ready for me. Hello? On foot is much healthier and more beautiful! In 7 minutes one is with the Bh... Read more

Grand hotel in the art nouveau style, renovated modern room with very nice view. Room very spacious with balcony. Half board inclusive, dining room and food was good, but a little below other level of the hotel.
