Winters are cold in the lowlands and very harsh in the Alpine region with temperatures often dropping below -10° C (14° F). Winters last from December to March (longer at higher altitudes). In the Alpine region large temperature fluctuations occur all year round and nights are chilly even in high summer. The northern Alps are generally a lot wetter than the rest of the country. The South East (Styria and Carinthia) is dry and sunny. The area around Vienna often experiences strong easterly winds.

top address in Zell am see! For winter and summer sports (ski, hiking, golf), especially but because of of the great SpA range and the extraordinary good half ('weddings') Pensionsküche very recommendable. the hotel looks at first glance may not be quite up to date time, but the staff and the aforementioned benefits of penalties the first impression very Fast lies! We had a junior suite on the garden side. Rather rustic, not state-of-the-art style. The pictures/ Description hotel's homepage ... Read more

the hotel has approximately tight 50 rooms. The state of the hotel and our room was spotless and clean. in the room (we had the biggest in the hotel) there is no telephone, no drinks and despite previous assurances no Internet( Wi-Fi) in the room. I wonder, where the three stars of the hotel come? front desk is rarely occupied. the hotel was very well maintained, all spaces very clean and attractively decorated. The audience is mixed, for skiing were many Germans, dutch, French and English families since. the room - guy family room Sonnberg- was very spacious and nice. The only thing, what we missed and to the forthcoming renovation would inspire, were more towel hooks and area for storage space in the bathroom/toilet. The mattresses for us were just perfect, we slept very well after wonderful skiing days, relaxing ... Read more
