Hotel review for Hotel 1-2-FLY Fun Club Royal Suite/Village

Hotel

We were surprised after reading all the comments the people wrote before us. The hotel is clean and in good condition. There are some issues that bother, but that is going to happen in every hotel. The hotel is handicapped accessible and it is also for kids, but it was quiet all the time. We also have to mention that we were there in low season. There is always a couple of people who will always complain and will want a luxury vacation for little money. Make a vacation in the Canaries without the 'all inclusive' it is not worth it because of the drinks.

Location

The hotel is 10 minutes away from the beach (900m). There is a shutle bus to the beach, but I think it is faster by foot. A bit of exercise is always good. There are a couple of shopping options, but most of the shops close at 20:00 o'clock, which is a shame because we still wanted to be there after eight.

Service

Friendly and helpful staff; besides, they speak very good German. The rooms were always cleaned, excepting Wednesdays and Sundays. We have no reason to complain about anything.

Gastronomy

The food is not as bad as one expected. There is always some stuff that one does not like, but there are many other options. Like the people ate there, we are sure nobody was once hungry there!! We were once in the Italian and another time in the Spanish and both were delicious!
Both restaurants are inside the hotel and can be used once a week free of charge. Thirstiness is not an issue too, because there is always somehting to drink (One could get the glasses from the dishwasher, but sometimes they were not very clean).

Sport & Entertainment

The animation for kids is unbeatable, the Kids have a great time. For adults, there is plenty of entretainment offered and one does not feel pressed to do it. The pool is cleaned every day. The evening program is awsome and worth recommending. For example, The Dance of the Vampire, Abba, Falko...! Compliments to the animators.

Room

We had the room number 4014 and it was big enough for 3 people. It had safe deposti box and TV. Enough space for the clothes is also available. In short, everything very clean.

Tips and recommendations

On last night I had an infection in the stomach and it was so bad that we had to call the dorctor at night. The doctor was there in 20 minutes and she gave me an infusion so that I was perfect the next day. The doctor was recommended by the tourism manager (Dr. Karola Simoni). Thanks again for the fast and efficient help!!!
