Hotel
4.0

Big but clearly laid out hotel with 6 floors. Has a little bit of 70s charm about it. All rooms have a view of the sea. Varied guest structure: young people, families, the 50s to 65s and senior citizens. Clean and tidy.

Location
6.0

Couldn't be any better. Right by the sea and there are pubs, supermarkets, a car rental and shops of all kinds in the immediate vicinity. A mere 10 minutes to Ibiza town by taxi, costs on average €7. Space and Manamar are about 3-5mins walk away. Despite all this, the hotel is quietly situated! Overhead noise from the low flying planes is in no way a disturbance.

Service
4.5

Very nice lady at check-in with some German, otherwise the staff at the (show-cooking) buffet are also nice. Room-cleaning everyday, even if you get up on the late side :-)

Gastronomy
5.0

Very big buffet, no queuing. Everything takes a matter of seconds. In terms of food, there is everything you could possibly imagine: meat in various forms, pasta, vegetables, salad and, naturally, freshly grilled and fried fish, as well as fish in sauce. You have to go to the bar for your drinks. Glass of wine costs €2.10. We booked half board and it was more than adequate.

Sport & Entertainment
Unused

Didn't make use of sports facilities.

Room
4.0

Functional rooms, absolutely fine for a 3* hotel. Big balcony with view of Ibiza's old town, lovely view.

Tips and recommendations

We can only recommend the hotel since location and value for money are excellent. Extras are not really cheap (beer is about €3 per bottle). That's why we bought our beer (€0.80) and a bottle of cold Rondell champagne (€2.90) from the cheap supermarket. Tastes great in the sun on the beach in the afternoon :-)
By the way the supermarket in the side street on the right (on leaving the hotel)- Tivoli-App. is about 10-20% cheaper than the one directly opposite.
You must rent a car and look for "lonely" beaches. Lots of additional tips and info can be found on Ibiza-spotlight.de.
