The hotel was found in good condition. In Karl-Heinz's opinion the choice of restaurants and bars near Hotel Cartago Nova were excellent. When Karl-Heinz visited in 3/2007, the service at the hotel was dissatisfactory. The atmosphere and the furnishings in the dining and bar areas were above average. According to Karl-Heinz, the room's amenities and furnishings were okay.
