As I was already in this hotel 3 years ago, I know what I'm talking about. The rooms are ok, the villas are bad. The restaurant is not expanded any more, despite of the grown demand. Therefore the reservation is necessary. Very many French tourists with own animation, thereby there are 2 animation teams working constantly against each other, however the KIKOS animation is better than the French one. The hotel is taking slowly a ballerman character through the French. It's a pity that thereby it's not silent and familiar any more. Food is ok, but it's being repeated every week. The pool is not for sensitive ears, as there are a lot of bacterias over there.

Waiters are ok when you provide them pretty offen wit tips, then you are also well served at the bar, but since I've been in holiday the rooms are ok and are always normally cleaned also without tips. The doctor is very good, I recommend to you to go to the hotel doctor in case of looseness or otitis of the middle ear, it also costs something but you have a health insurance. Complaints were worked out pretty fast according to Dominican time. Room changing is no problem. But dont let yourself accomodated with villas.

Gastronomy

Kitchen is ok, but just like mentioned the food repeats itself after one week. We have seen mice and some bugs, but that is totally normal, the kitchen style tries to get changed but it is tasting the same thing after one week.

Sport & Entertainment

The pool is dirty. The entertainment is too loud because of the two animationteams working at the same time, although the Dominican Animation is better at it.

Room

The rooms are clean, the minibar is always filled up, the electricity supply 110 Volt, charger useable. The rooms are clairaudient, our neighbors had lots of fun one evening but dont get worried, the Italians are not persistent lovers.

Tips and recommendations

Left on the beach it goes along to Las Galeras and right to the country. There is one person in Las Galeras, he is a rascal and cheater but his Quad tours are cool. He promises actually German speaking travel guide in his tours but we have never had the luck to see one. Right over in the inner country side you find a cavalier village from Karin and Ron, they offer very interesting tours to the mounted. Better leave the travel medicine at home, it is functioning bad anyway.
