Good hotel on a beautiful beach

6.0The location is fantastic, right on the beach. The old city is behind the hotel. The architecture and the arrangement are precious and original. We booked half pension, which was wise for the time we were traveling at because many restaurants in Rota were closed. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner could be sometimes compared to class restaurants. At the time of our vacation, it was no high season at all. There were few elderly people and some weekend Spanish traveleres.
Location
5.5The location was already described. A rental car is necessary, so that one can explore the surroundings; for example, the white villages and the classic Andalucian city Cadiz, Jerez, etc. In the surroundings one can take walks over the boardwalk through dunes and some km further there is the beach walk too.
Service
6.0Our expectations about the service were more than expected. We have rarely seen such a clean room in the vacations we have made. Suddendly we needed a doctor, and he was in our room within half an hour. The manager 'auxiliadora' asked days later about my condition.
Gastronomy

Because of the time we were traveling, we did not expect such benefits. This was not the case. We could choose three courses 'a la Carte'. The only defect we found was that they had music the whole time, but the noise was reduced when we complained.
But it is hard to make everyone happy.
Sport & Entertainment
UnusedWe cannot say anything because we were in the wonderful beach all the time and we made trips.

Tips and recommendations
We were unlucky with the weather, it rained half of our vacation. We could not say a lot about tourism because everything was closed.
