Hotel
5.0The hotel consists of 9 blocks with an extra building for the restaurant, reception, a large gathering room (great for celebrations), doctor office, etc. You don't need to worry at all about lack of space there! The cleanliness is downright perfect, the architecture modern. Luckily most of the guests come from German-speaking countries. It's mostly families - that is, not a good idea for a honeymoon. The hallways are wide, and there's an automatic chairlift in every building that always works (I didn't experience a power-outage).
Location
4.0The complex lies right on the beach. The path leads there through a SMALL dune, but it's no problem - you can see the sea anyway. The area around the hotel is well-kept and clean (no dumpsters, etc.). The distance from the airport to the Eden Playa Hotel is only about 60km (very short, unlike our last vacation). Takes about 1.15h. Unfortunately we didn't use the buses to the city.
Service
5.0About the staff, it should be said that they were truly correct and obliging. In the case that someone spilled cocoa right on the brand-new (white) tablecloth, they didn't complain at all but just very quickly changed it.
Gastronomy
5.5There is merely one restaurant for 9 buildings. It's sometimes over-full, but there are always two eating times in the evenings. The food is terrific. For dessert in the evenings there is chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream. For breakfast you can grab a hot chocolate, which is incidentally delicious. We just had a half-pension - so no lunch. There are three bars: a snack bar, a drink bar, and a bar (located in the gathering room building)
Sport & Entertainment
4.0The only drawback is the evening entertainment in the common room. It was basically the same every time. But nevertheless it was always still very fun. The pool is very big (the one pool starts out shallow and gets gradually deeper) and divided by a bridge. There is also an outdoor stage.
Room
4.5In our room, the holder for the shower head was a bit loose - but that doesn't matter, otherwise everything else in the room (with a great view of the sea) was in great condition. There was a mini-bar with refridgerator and oven, where at least it was possible to cook something to feed yourself. The TV could receive Sat. 1, RTL, and VOX. In the morning as we woke up, it stunk a bit outside of algae and salt, but that's normal in the mediterranean regions. Almost couldn't hear any noises.
Tips and recommendations
We didn't use the telephone. You should rent a car outside the hotel - it's cheaper. The office is located across the street.
