Hotel review for Hotel Grupotel Turquesa Mar

Hotel

Very nice broad arranged hotel, with 4 houses and each of them with 4 floors, unfortunately the construciton quality was not the best. I ask myself how this hotel will look like in two till three years. Cracks in the splices in the bathroom/plaster showed themselves in the outer facade, the children get slivers on the stairs....Here only the families should have holiday, as couples you couldnt stand the noise and the animation, no relaxing spots except for the rooms.

Location

The location was OK. The beach right in the near was very badly-looked after - better walk for 10 minutes to Cala en Bosch, which we found very pleasant and somewhat cleaner. There is also a small port over there with restaurants and small shops. Transfer to the airport is about 1 hour (it was pure annoying thing with small children). Explore the island with the auto, nice landscpaes and also interesting places.

Service

The most friendly was the personnel in the restaurant, unfortunately a little snappy by cleaning, the barmen were super, room girls were very kind and clean (unfortunately the cleaning time always during the meal time, when our children slept, the reception is friendly busy, TUI care was overstrained with complaints and at the same time dealing with tour sales, we have got cleared our move direct with the hotel, as the TUI was not in that place!

Gastronomy

1 restaurant very loud, unfortunately you could not sit on the terrace during the normal eating times (only during the second breakfast) or at grill evening (with reservations), drinks just like always very sweet, food was very good and diversified, unfortunately the children chairs did not match under the table.../there were many better restaurants or subdivisions over here.

Sport & Entertainment

There is a swimming pool and a sauna which we have not tried. It was super that there was enough amount of lying chairs at the pool and without the typical handtowel reservations, children playing spot unfortunately not elaborate, the slides ended on a pedestrian spots - danger of getting wounded, no small kid swings and for so many small guests too small, loud children animation, not age-based and not educated personnel, babyclub starting from 11.00 o'clock, as the mealtime was announced in our case, unfortunately the animateurs also did not notice our children birthdays!! Careful, take some money for handicraft offers and ask before what will be made. The external evening program was nice.

Room

Only book no double room with children bed - you get a studio what is smaller and has only franz bed - and that for 14 days with small child is pretty narrow. Appartments are super with shower/tabs, extra kitchen with all the accessories, nice living spot. We were in the house 4 - which was very nice, as there was nothing over there to hear from the animation or pool part. Good for small children with noon sleeps.

Tips and recommendations

Baby carriaged approximately for 15 euro per week ok, baby hair-dryer was possible, We have not used. Bring enough amount of clothes, as the washing machines dont function appropriately, travel time September/Ok, it was very good not that hot and the sea was still warm.
