Hotel
4.5
We entered this hotel with mixed feelings, after the mixed commentary about the hotel. It is just one of these giant vacation machines, like they stand on every corner of the cinary islands. Whoever books a vacation here knows, that it is NOT a quiet romantic little place. And whoever looks for something to complain about will find something to complain about.
So, the hotel was good to very good, lovingly designed with some appearance of wear, which is not disturbing.
Location
5.0
Hier we stayed nicely and quietly on the verge of the Costa Adeje Hotelkonglomerats. Super: the promenade to Costa Adeje Downtown. Whoever travels for free with the shuttelbus to the Playa de las Americas will subsequently appreciate the quiet and architecturally nice corner of the Costa Adeje.
The "beach" in the immediate area of the hotel is only for hardcore swimmers, it is nice at the Playa de Duque, 10 minutes by foot to the left of the promenade. Here there is a nice black dyed sand beach.
Service
5.5
We never ran across an unfriendly service employee, on the contrary, most were downright nice and courteous. Like it is called out into the woods: Whoever enters the buffet room with miserable face like many of the guests, should not be surprised if they are not served so friendly. (Hello? we are here on vacation: relax!!!)
Gastronomy
4.5
The food was great and varied. But after a week it seemed like everything tasted the same. In regards to coffee: the terrible drinks from the machine were really undrinkable. Apparently we are too uncivilized to know how to appreciate a good coffee filter.
So, not complaining, but rather looking for resolutions: We made good nescafe, if you got hot water in the pot, then you got a pot of coffee (well, isn't that something?)
Sport & Entertainment
5.0
The pool landscape is very large, there were enough seats for all the guests. The children's pool was our choice, because of our small son. The artificial waterfall was soothing because of the relaxing sound.
Whoever would like to have a massage should let Hektor give you the massage. He looks hot, and massages well.
Room
3.5Was just a room in a giant hotel. I repaired some things myself, other things were done by the repair service. The room service itself was quick and friendly.
Tips and recommendations
To really relax, here is the best tip:
There is a small beach bar 5 minutes by foot to the right of the hotel, which was extra filled up with sand, and with well-humored staff, and cool chill-out music, and it makes delicious fresh prepared hamburgers with chips. Whoever wants to get away from the hotel chow, and wants to take a look at the magnificant glistening ocean will not want to leave.
Hotel review marks: 6 suns = very good … 1 sun = unsatisfactory
