Hotel
5.0The hotel offers a nice and typical view. The rooms are clean and have a good size, besides, they are modernly furnished. View of the sea is recommendable. We had half pension and the buffet was awsome, very recommendable. The guests were a mixture of nationalities: English, French, Spain, German, families, couples....
Location
4.5The hotel is a bit outside Estepona. We rented a car (parking is $5 Euros a day). The gas station was 200m away and the supermarkt 2km.
Service
4.5One can easily communicate with English, and German is spoekn at the reception. Even though we arrive at 1:00am, we had cold dinner. To have extra glasses in the room we had to insist (we asked three times for them). All the employees were very friendly.
Gastronomy
6.0One should be careful with the 6 suns, but the quality, the service and the variety offered do deserve them. Paella, shrimps and some other typical dishes; there were at least two kinds of fresh fishes every day. The breakfast buffet was very good too, including sprakling wine.
Sport & Entertainment
5.0Internet access is $1 Euro every 10 minutes. The pool are is well kept and arranged. The animation was very unobtrusive. Unfortunately, there was no newspaper stand. The beach was good. Child care is available, as well as kids' pool and playground. Planty of chairs available. Pools were daily cleaned.
Room
5.0Clean rooms with air conditioner. The mini bar would be refilled upon request. The washroom is well arranged. Towels were daily changed and bedlinen every two days.
Tips and recommendations
It is recommendable to rent a car. Trips: Granada, Cordoba and Sevilla are 2,5 hours away (each one); Gibraltar, Ronda and Malaga are 1 hour away (each). These trips are a must. View of the sea can be well contemplated between 4-6 floors. The restaurant does not make reservations, but that could be somewhat chaos when there is a lot of people. The long meal times (7:00-10:30 and 19:00-22:30) make the trip better. The buffet would offer new food even at 22:00 o'clock.
