Hotel review for Hotel Obelisco Playa

Das "Obelisco" in Playa de Palma ist sehr schön und vollständig renoviert. Die Aussicht aus den modernen Zimmern und das angenehme Ambiente im Speisesaal kann man gut genießen. Nach Palma geht es gut per Bus mit der neuen Linie 25 in 20 Min.
Getrübt wurde das 4-Sterne-Gefühl leider durch die unzulängliche Reinigung des Zimmers. (Lange Haare und Flusen vom Vorgast noch nach 3 Tagen.) Die Balkone bieten leider keine Privatsphäre, da die Abtrennungen zu offen gestaltet sind.
Die gute Weinauswahl und die freundlichen Kellnerinnen/er konnten leider das Unvermögen des Kochs nicht aufwiegen: Auch das beste Fleisch und sogar Fisch waren zäh. Die Soßen zu den Speisen waren schlecht. Landestypische Gerichte haben wir vermisst.
Zum durchaus reichhaltigen Frühstück gab es zwar Prosecco, aber der Orangensaft war leider aus dem Chemielabor. Trotz der gerade reifen Orangen auf der Insel.
Unsere Empfehlung: Koch und Putzfrau erneuern - dann ist das Hotel Obelisco eine super Empfehlung.
