Very satisfied with the hotel and its surroundings

5.0Overall the hotel was very clean and neat. It was nicely arranged and the rooms were very clean. The size of the hotel could be said to be almost enormous. The age average was 45 years old. All the employees could speak fluently German. The hotel is very recommendable.
Location
5.0The beach is 10-15 minutes away by foot (1 km). There were pleanty of shopping and entertainment options in the surroundings. The taxis cost in Gran Canaria as much as a bus ticket in Germany. Discos and cafes are 5 minutes away by foot.
Service
5.5They were all very friendly and they spoke fluently German and English. The rooms were clean and with five excellent elevators for the hotel. A lot of entretainment provided: water sports, gym. There were many shops and cafes in the hotel. Only one employee was very unfriendly and rude at a shop where they sold cameras and souvenirs.
Gastronomy

The dinning hall was really small for this hotel. One had to share a table with other tourists. One time we not not get in beacuse it was full.
As soon as the waiters saw the dishes empty, they took them away. The food was not the best. I think that the fries that we not eaten at lunch were heated again and served at dinner. There were many bars in the hotel. The atmosphere was good, but the beer prices were a bit expensive. They were really attentive about the cleanliness and the hygiene.
Sport & Entertainment
3.5The two pools are not enough for so many tourists. The area was always crowded and there was rarely a free place to lie. When one had finally a beach chair, one could not relax good. The sport offeres were awsome. Every single sport was offered. The entretainment does also give Buenaventura the 5 stars. It is an hotel for young and old people, it has somehting for everyone.
Room
5.0The rooms were very big; a double room could be said to be for four people. Very nice rooms with nice furniture and beautiful view. All kinds of TV channels. The beds were very clean and so was the shower.
Tips and recommendations
It was a really nice hotel, but I wouldn't come back. The age average was 45 years old. I would not recommend the Gran Canaria for young people who want to have fun.
