Hotel review for Hotel Kolymbia Star

We have booked the hotel with a reliable travel agency. After reading many of the descriptions on this page I was rather afraid as what to expect. However, everything was even better than desired. If you have decided for a medium - level hotel with halfboard, a nice closeby beach and good public transport connections without the unneccesary time-consuming luxury, you will not be disappointed.
The hotel has been recently renovated. Everything was very clean. The food is tasty and varied.
Most importantly of all, the personnel was very amicable and efficient. The hotel is composed of a central building and four appartment buildings, spread over a vast enough space so the grounds do not feel overcrowded. Also, you do not enter the reception area every time you leave your room. In fact, we could walk out directly to the smaller of the two pools. We were extremely thankful for the peace and quietness (the animation program had finished before we arrived).
The bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Rhodos and Lindos are within an hour reach.
We would recommend the hotel to everyone looking for an independant relaxing holiday and would certainly decide on it again.
