Hotel review for Hotel Paradisus Varadero Resort

Hotel

We were thrilled about the location from the first moment, everything is in a very good condition, clean and especially arranged with lots of love. The location is nicely large and perfect for the evening walks. There were a few German guests over there, mainly Spanish and Canadian tourists.

Location

The location is situated on a gorgeously nice bay, it's possible to see the beach almost from the whole location. There's a small supermarket in the location (for the people, just like us who have forgotten the toothbrushes), otherwise you have to drive to the city in order to do some shopping, whereas we were told that Cuba is not really held up as the shopping paradise, so we have just left that idea (but who thinks about shopping during such a gorgeous holiday). I was always sorry for the people of the neighbor hotels, as our beach was much more beautiful and more spacious.

Service

Everybody was always friendly, the rooms were always clean, there were always new hand towels, there's also a doctor (he helped me with stomach indigestion). You dont go pretty far along with German, English is already better but also broken English, the best one is to handle with smiles.

Gastronomy

Food was genial (both of us have gained extra weights), there was actually everything that you desired, from pizza till lobster and everything in between. There were always fresh made fruits juices, delicious cocktails, one could order pizza to his room (for that unfortunately we were always very full). You didnt have to give out tips in order to be served, but when you did it, of course, the people were still a little bit kinder. The restaurant was always clean.

Sport & Entertainment

We have never taken part in the animation.
The beach was like from a picture book, very wide and gloomywhite and always clean. There are enough lying chairs and sun umbrellas over there, there was never any fight taking place for that purpose and even when you have arrived on Monday. On the beach and at the pool you get equipments for the lying chairs that you can also use as air mattrasses in water, that is genial (If anyone could have told us about that earlier, then we would have left our airmattrasses at home).

Room

Rooms were large, amply equipped, beds were comfortable, air conditioning was functioning, bath tub, bidet, coffemashine, ironing board + electric iron, hair dryer, minibar (inclusive), equipped almost very good, in return you go to the room only for sleeping.

Tips and recommendations

Mobile phones were functioning, definitely take something against Stomach-flu problems (although it is only recommended, as except for me, everbody was ok in this respect). We were there during the raining time and it has rained only once during the night, well it was simply everything perfect and unforgettable.
