Unterkunft in atemberaubender Kulisse
Die staatlichen Parador-Hotels stehen für gehobenen Standart an meist einzigartigen Plätzen. In Cangas de Onis wurde ein ehemaliges Kloster zum Hotel. Zusätzlich wurde ein Zimmertrakt relativ stilecht angebaut. Das Ambiente ist sehr unterschiedlich. Während der Kreuzgang als Lounge und ein Gewölbe als Bar genutzt werden hat das Restaurant ein wenig von Kantine und Tagungsraum.
Während der Hauptsaison ist nur Halbpension zu buchen und da ist sowohl die Auswahl wenig berauschend, der Service arbeitet in 2 Schichten wie in einer Massenabfertigung - eigentlich schade.
Die Landschaft rund um den Nationalpark "Picos d'Europa" bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge und Sport.
