Hotel
5.0A big facility, but by its construction it turns to be many small facilities and in the middle there is a big pool which offers many lying areas, which can be freely used. Also the new "plastic grass" gives a friendly point to the facility. Our apartment was very spacious. The living room with an open kitchen, bedroom with anteroom bathroom with bath and a big balcony.
Location
5.5One gets to the sea in two steps. The closest sand beach is 5 minutes away. Directly under the hotel there is a big shopping center. The transfer from the airport lasts around 30 minutes. With the taxi it takes less than 20 minutes, it costs around 20 euros.
Service
4.5There is a laundry in the basement. The personnel is friendly and courteous. With some words in Spanish one always wins some smiles and more friendliness. One doesn't have to take for granted that everybody speaks the languages of the guests, then in the island of Tenerife everybody should speak 5-8 languages. With this formation one would be employed somewhere else.
Gastronomy
4.5We booked half board, and the food is offered in the hotel's own restaurant. Unfortunately there isn't any buffet. The food was very good, and the waiters very hard workers and friendly.
Sport & Entertainment
4.5I didn't find any noisy entertainers. And the noise level of the diverse children was not very loud. There were enough lounge chairs, and also umbrellas. There was also Internet, but I would advice to take a laptop with you, because there is a Wlan area to be used. The hotel's own 4 Internet accesses would mainly be used by kids playing, who don't go on holiday with the idea of sunbathing but of staying inside and sitting in front of a pc.
Room
5.0As described, the apartments were very spacious. An unfortunately quite overpriced safe could also be rented, but due to its size it was totally useless. The television is quite small, but it should only be used to help you fall asleep at night. One has to get used to the beds. The bathroom is okay, the towels are often changed. For the electrical power supply one should take an adapter kit with.
Tips and recommendations
With the cell phone one is well accessible. If you want to phone a lot then it is better to buy a telephone card. As usual, the best travel season is Christmas. Although it is 80 % more expensive as usual, it is therefore much more quite, but not boring. The weather was wonderful, 13 days with pure sun. Tip for all the owners of a PPL or a CPL. Go to Steve or Oliver from the firma TAI. You won't forget this island.
