Typical Austrian family run Alp hotel which offers half pension. The guests come from all over Europe. It's a hotel that suits both couples and families.

The hotel is situated less then one kilometer from the village center where one can find a grocery store, a sports store, a bakery, a Web café (with washing machines!), a doctor, a swimming pool and more. The bus stops (for ski buses and local buses) are very close. It is calm and there is no noise from either night clubs or the traffic.

Service

The staff is very friendly and the cleaning of the room is excellent. For skiers there is a room to place the ski boots and the skis.

Gastronomy

With the half pension there are always at least two main dishes to choose from. There is always soup for starter and ther is dessert after and there is a fresh sallad buffet. The children have the same options only smaller portions.
For breakfast there is a good variation of bread, there is yougurt, orange or apple juice, coffee, tea, cheese, salami, ham etc.

Sport & Entertainment

There are two saunas ("dampfbad" and ordinary sauna) in the hotel. Once a week a masseur comes to the hotel and for a reasonable price one can have a massage.
Not far from the hotel, there is a a swimming pool.

Room

The family rooms are very spacious and the cleaning is excellent. The bathroom has a shower and is very modern. There are TV channels in German, French, English, Italian and even one in Swedish. Our room had a balcony and there is a telephone in the room.

Tips and recommendations

It is the third year we stay at Pettneuer Hof and we have always been very well received and therefore we will surely come back. We can really recommend this hotel.
