The hotel is easily accessed by handicapped people. There are some good shopping options near Hotel Playacanela. Käthe commented that the check-in process was extremely smooth. The atmosphere and the furnishings in the dining and bar areas were quite pleasant. Käthe found the beach to be of a rather bad quality.
