Hotel review for Hotel Punta Cana Princess

The hotel suited us well being an all suite resort with no children. Rooms were very nice and kept clean. Close to a superb beach, lovely pool etc. The big let down for us was the food we found it very difficult to find appetising things to eat and felt huingry much of the time. There were simply two many choices, a smaller menu with a lot more quality would be a big improvement. There was never any gravy and worst of all the meals were always cold. We booked the holiday supposedly on an All-inclusive package only to find that there were many drinks we could not have, sunbeds we were not allowed to use and we were restricted to the ground floor. The Dominican people are lovely and very friendly but do have a habit of playing very loud Dominican music in all the bars, this made ordering drfinks very difficult. The lobby bar never had enough glasses and resorted to serving drinks in plastic throwaway cups on several occasions. The hotel did not have entertainment, not a problem for us but in an evening when we just liked to sit and chat the animacion team would turn up and "entertain us" this proved to be very noisy and with few exceptions just an annoyance to most people. We loved the location, the beaches, pools etc. and over all had lovely weather, in short in most ways we really enjoyed our stay, if the food in particular could be impoved it would be an ideal spot
