Hotel review for Hotel RIU Atlantico

Hotel

Huge-Hotel location built in a very nice style. Gorgeous reception halls. Condition in alltogether top. We have booked half pension (mornings from 8-10.30 o'clock in the evenings, in 2 stratas i thinks it was 18.30-20.30 o'clock and then starting from 21 o'clock). Internet access in the hotel hall in 3 terminals. Average age in pension ages, mainly Germans and British.

Location

It's located pretty remote from everything. Well "enjoyable-moderately" I would have given 6.0 stars, very silent and right at the sea (connected with the beach only through a short way through the dunes). But relatively further ways, when you want to arrange something. As well as the way from and to the airport. You are absolutely stuck without rental car.

Service

Friendliness absolutely top!!! Reception like room girl, service-personnel in restaurant as well very attentive and friendly. We had nothing to complain about, therefore we have no idea how it is handled with. But if you need a general help, i think, you will be helped very fast. All the serving personnel speak from satisfying till perfect German. Rooms equipped absolutely great (every day flat drawn in).

Gastronomy

When the drinks prices would have not been so high, then i would have also given 6 stars. The breakfast buffet huge and with everything that you could imagine and wish. In the evenings it is likewise very very ample and with a lot of choice on everything that your heart needs. Especially the dessert-buffet with a lot of sweet variations is very great. Used up plates were cleaned up regularly, alltogether very clean.

Sport & Entertainment

well, below average. Well the outdoor pools are acceptable. The indoor swimming pool is more than "tarn" to describe. There is nothing with swimming over there. The fitness room is not in the best condition, either (not to change with the down coming - that not). Walking track doesnt operate properly, there were definitely trimm-bikes when Helmut Kohl was still Kanzler. Some weight equipments seemed also not that secure. In return a very big choice on "normal" barbell. In the evening there is often evening of music and entertainment in the bar. Therefore not that silent in many rooms because of that, as it gets pretty loud over there and it makes the silence impossible. Beach very spacious and very clean.

Room

the rooms are very large for spanish standards, however they also got a little bit older, which you can partially notice in the carpet floors, as well as some scratches on some walls. However the rooms are equipped very nicely and you can feel yourself very well inside. It is absolutely clean. There are current popular German TV channels on TV. The noise disturbance from the floor below is limited because of the floor carpet. Minibar is also usebale for own drinks. There are always fresh hand towels and hair-dryeir available in the bathroom.

Tips and recommendations

Book only this hotel, when you only want to get absolute relaxation and silence. Otherwise you are on a wrong spot over there!!!
