Hotel review for Hotel RIU Monica

"Sonnenseiten"/Vorteile:
- zentrale Lage, direkt am Meer und nah zum Zentrum Nerjas
- sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen!
- auf Nachfrage bekamen wir sofort eine weichere Matratze. Die ursprüngliche Matratze ließ uns die erste Nacht doch ganz schön leiden (sehr hart!)
- geräumiges Zimmer, schöner Meerblick
- immer frisches Obst zum Essen
- guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die schöne Sierra Nevada, die Alpujarras, Malaga, Granada,...
"Schattenseiten"/negative Punkte:
- die Speisen variierten recht wenig, innerhalb 1 Woche viele Wiederholungen, das sollte nicht sein!
- Atmosphäre im Restaurant hat uns nicht gefallen
- Im Bad (trotz renovierung?) schon viel Abgeplatztes, keine gute Abluft, oft ein leichter Urin-Geruch (bäh) durch viel Urinstein im WC
- Nerja hat zwar auch viele schöne Ecken, aber die muss man mittlerweile leider echt auch suchen. Vieles wird zu- oder gar nicht fertig gebaut, touristische Pubs und Kramläden dominieren. Nicht so schön.
