Die zum Teil negativen Kritiken kann ich nicht recht nachvollziehen. An diesem Hotel gibt es, auch bei höheren Ansprüchen, absolut nichts auszusetzen. Dieser Meinung waren übrigens ausnahmslos alle Urlauber, mit denen ich dort gesprochen habe. Dass das Hotel schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat, kann doch niemanden ernsthaft stören. Mein Zimmer (Doppelzimmer zur Alleinnutzung) war klasse, das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich, der Service perfekt, das Essen gut bis sehr gut. Der Strand war ein Traum - so, wie man ihn aus der Bacardi- oder Bountywerbung kennt. Kurzum: Ich habe im Riu Macao zwei herrlich entspannte Wochen verbracht. Es war ein Traumurlaub.
