A perfect holiday

The hotel was completely renovated in 2006 and therefore is in a very good condition. It has 7 floors and circa 200 rooms. The public was international and predominantly old people. There was a pleasant and quite atmosphere.
Location

The location is perfect. From the 4th floor one has a direct view over the beach of Maspalomas and the sea. Within few minutes one reaches the beach promenade. One also gets to the shopping centers in a few minutes walk. Across from the hotel there is the small center La Sandia with multiple bars and restaurants, where one can spend nice evenings.
Circa 5 minutes away from the hotel there is a bus stop. From there drive buses to Maspalomas and Las Palmas.
Service
6.0The service was perfect. From the luggage boy to the receptionists - and the restaurant personnel up to the pool boy were all very courteous and polite.
Gastronomy

The food was excellent. The quality of the food and its diversity is particularly noteworthy. The daily served fruit was always fresh and mature (in many hotels that is a rareness).
Worth living were the daily freshly squeezed fruit juices.
Only objection: the coffee served in the breakfast doesn't taste very good.
They should work to improve this point.
Sport & Entertainment

The new fitness room is okay. But we did not use any sport program.
The pool is a bit small for the amount of guests. The lounge chairs are placed to close one to the other. One feels kind of constricted. The pool bar is okay.
Room

The rooms are a little small, but they are enough for a beach holiday. In exchange they are always in a very good condition and are always very clean. They are enough cupboards for the clothes and other things. The balcony is really big. There are two chairs and a table.
Sheets and towels are changed every day. Thanks to the renovation, the sanitary installations are all new and functioning.
Tips and recommendations
The weather in February 2007 was excellent. From our point of view, the price-performance ratio of this hotel is good. Therefore we are going back on may 2007.
