Good price ratio for a 3 star hotel
Hotel
5.0It is big, it has 100 rooms, and it hosts a lot of tourism. The outside of the hotel is getting old, but it was renovated not long ago. The rooms are nice with air conditioner, good washroom, TV (only RTL as German channel), balkony. U shaped park. Kids' animation available. 3 pools with big area surrounding them. Elevator and ramps available. Most of the guests in August came from Spain, England and Germany (in that order). There are parking spots in the hotel or in the surroundings.
Location
4.0After crossing the hotel's park, one can cross the main steet by using the subway. After going up some stairs, one will see the beach and a shower. Plenty of beach chairs are available for rent. The hotel is located in a central zone, 10 minutes away by foot from the harbour (big marina, no industrie or fishing harbor). There are no discos in the surroundings, there is only a post office and a supermarkt (5 minutes away by foot). Benalmadena-Costa is very clean, one can find entretainment in the attractions park; recommendable is the telepheric, which goes up tp 700m. Cultural spots: Mijas, Ronda, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Gibraltar. The best way to go to these places is to rent a car. For local transportation the best and cheapest way is to use the public transportation. The facility is 20 minutes away by car from the Malaga airport.
Service
5.0Good room service. Fresh towels were daily provided. A doctor had office hours every day.
Gastronomy
5.0A big choice in the breakfast and dinner. Because of the size of the hotel, the cleanliness of the dinning hall is somehwat good, the service is good and the drinks' prices are fair.
Sport & Entertainment
3.0Besides pin pon, there are no ball sports. The beach is ok and the sea' water is a bit turbid. The marina is very big, maybe that is the reason for the water being a bit turbid. The hotel's pools are well kept.
Room
5.0As said before, the room is clean and in good condition.
