Hotel review for Hotel Victoria Ritter

We could not fault this hotel. It is exactly as described on its website. The Hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained. There are ample public rooms. The pool is clean and inviting. The continental breakfast is plentiful and varied. We had thought to dine a la carte in the Ritter restaurant attached but the set evening menus in the main restaurant were so interesting and the food so well cooked and presented we coud not tear ourselves away. Maybe next time. The wine list is comprehensive and well priced. The multi-lingual staff are all cheerful and helpful. Our room, a mini suite, at the back of the Hotel was spacious and clean and had a breathtaking view. The village was just the right size for us and had everything we needed in the way of shops, bars etc. The geographical situation is spectacular. It would be hard to exaggerate the beauty of the valley. The public transport system is so well co-ordinated we did not miss our car and wre able to travel as far afield as Zermatt, Interlaken and Berne with no difficulty. We had a memorable holiday that we could not fault and can heartily recommend the hotel.
