Wonderful surroundings, great centre
An atmosperic family run hotel, comfortable and family friendly but with a certain grandeur. Helpful and professional staff. The food is excellent, though I would have welcomed a salad bar to start the evening meal. The front of the hotel is a little noisy, due to its situation on the main street - here shutters might help. It does mean that you can watch the world go by, that is to say, a cosmopolitan array of scouts. The hotel is handy for station, shops, cafes and buses. Cable cars are not far away and there is masses to explore.
