Hotel review for Villa Montana B&B

Oliver and Uve the owners of this newly renovated Bed and Breakfast Hotel in Bodenmais are gracious and welcoming hosts. The rooms are well equiped and comfortable though the bathrooms are rather small. The balconies afford a comfortable place to relax in the afternoon sun perhaps following a strenuous uphill walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is access to a computer in a small chillout area, as well as wireless access in one´s room and a lounging area with comfortable sofas to relax in if you wish to chat or to play cards or a board game . The breakfasts that are provided are very satisfying and delicious - cosisting of fruit juice, cereals, cold meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, a variety of breads and conserves and cakes and biscuits and they may also be suplimented by extras - such as waffles, ham and cooked eggs(at a small additional cost) There are many and varied places to eat in Bodenmais at lunch time and in the early evening - though places tend to stop serving at 7. 30 - 8pm. For a later meal try the excellenty Chinese restaurant or the Italian Pasta and Pizza Place. Oliver and Uve will provide recommendations. An ideal place to stay if you wish to explore the Bavarian Forest.
