Hotel review for Villa Rioddi

Das Hotel liegt direkt unterhalb von Volterra (3 Min. Autofahrt). Man hat einen tollen Blick auf die Stadt und über die toskanische Landschaft. Ein Supermarkt befindet sich in der Nähe. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Frühstück umfangreich und gut. Zimmer Nr. 9 ist das kleinste Zimmer und es gibt leider keinen Balkon. Der Pool ist relativ groß und nicht nur zum abkühlen sondern auch zum schwimmen geeignet. Die Hotelchefin spricht nur italienisch ist aber sehr bemüht und freundlich. Der Seniorchef spricht englisch. Bei Ankunft überreicht er den Hotelgästen Straßenkarten und gibt Restaurant- und Besichtigungstipps. Empfehlenswert sind die beiden Restaurants an der Schnellstraße Richtung San Gimignano: El Grillo und Albana in Mazzolla (hier unbedingt vorher reservieren). Im Hotel hat mir gut gefallen, dass alles sehr relaxed und ruhig war, sei es beim Frühstück, am Pool oder abends bei einem Gläschen auf der Terrasse ...
