1. Baby- und Kinderhotel

Austria is beautiful, the mountains breathtaking and of course they are also nice in this place. There is a lovely stream across the street and you can walk up (steep walk!) to a small village where you can take the train to a walking route. But there are not many options or opportunities to take your strolle and kids and go for a walk in the mountains. The hotel is right beside the road, which is nice as it is easy to find, it isn't very noisy, but is does restrict you to the hotel grounds. With the car you can go out and all around are great routes and places to go see, but on foot you are somewhat restricted. I would have liked to be able to take the kids and go for a walk to the nice town centre or the mountains.

The only downside is the expensive option to do your own laundry, 3.25 Euros for 1 wash! But other than that there is not 1 bad thing we can say about the service, especially the waiting staff were really professional and kind, thank you Marek and Katarina! As said before the hotel is really clean and all the staff are really helpful and friendly, we felt really welcome and not just another guest/family.

Can we give 10 suns? The food tastes like heaven and for both parent and child there is more than enough to choose from! The possibilty to either eat with your children or without in the restaurant (you can put them in 'eveningcare') is nice, this way you as a parent also feel taken care of. There are enough highchairs and other seats avaliable for the kids, this was really lovely.

Nice warm pool for babys, a great slide for kids and a pool outside and inside also with a slide for the bigger kids and parents. The bubble bath outside is also great for both young and old(er).

Hubsi Hu is the mascotte of this hotel and enchants all the children with his song and dance every morning. Much more we can't tell you as our children were too small to participate in organised activities, but we did see theye were there and enjoyed by the bigger kids.

As said before: We stayed in the Josef room, small, but big enough. It doesn't have a balcony, but it has a seperate bathroom, toilet and children's room with a bunkbed and upon request a babybed as we have 2 children under 2. The babyphone which is installed and connected to a mobile phone is absolutely great, when your child is sleeping you can go swimming and keep an 'ear' on your child, if need be you are in your room within 3 minutes. The other option is childcare which is great when your child is accustomed to being taken care of by others than the parents. We tried but our children didn't like it, we were called immediately by the child carers, thank you for that! The only downside to the room was the location of it next to the staircase (noisy) and it was above the deliveryplace for the kitchen (noisy early in the morning).

It is an expensive hotel, but you do get your moneys worth here for sure.
