Clean, comfortable, family-friendly hotel
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AGood choice for families - we are a family of 5 and always struggle to find family-room accommodation. The family rooms are good for families - main bedroom with double bed plus enough space for a baby cot, 2nd bedroom with bunk beds. The decor is very dated, but everything is clean and beds comfortable. Also there is a small shower room, small WC room, but the sinks are located in the main bedroom and children's room which is not so convenient.
In general, the facilities and rooms could all use an upgrade, but everything is very clean and service was excellent. A great playroom for the kids, plus several other rooms (e.g. billiards room, ping-pong room, Kegelbahn) found throughout the hotel (consists of a main building interconnected to 3 other buildings by a series of maze-like corridors that your children will love).
We had half-pension at the restaurant - food was OK, but nothing great. Breakfast also OK - standard breakfast fare. They also have a kids' menu for dinner.
Located about 10-minute walk (if not in ski boots) or two bus stops (stop in front of hotel) from Madrisa-Land which is great for children in both winter and summer. There is an Intersport for ski rental right near the bottom of the Madrisa gondola. Probably about a 20-minute walk or short bus ride into Klosters Platz for shopping/more action.
