Not right in the city, but close *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe Arcotel is 2 block from the train station next to a main road with trams and parallel to the station. Built in 2006 OUGHT and everything is in very good condition. If the music in the foyer / at the bar a bit quieter would be better understanding the impeccable English at the front desk! Check-in was fast and easy. we had the standard room booked on the internet (2 . Floor on the front of the hotel), then bumped up but for 12€ free 5 Floor; since it was still and especially: you see also the train station! who doesn't care; the rooms at the back are also on the 2nd quiet but not very bright (courtyard). The rooms are really spacious, clean and if the window was closed also absolutely quiet and the curtain darkened quite completely! The bathroom is of normal size, TV has enough German channels (rbb to channel 1!!!), Wireless internet is free (account password at the reception), mini bar with the usual prices and in-room safes are also available. Everything made a friendly and clean impression! Almost directly in front of the hotel is a tram stop and to the train station is a station, and the main square of Zagreb are 3 stations. Shopping possibilities for beer, cola, etc. are available close to the hotel during the day, at night (at least until 1 am) also the train station (There was) the basics. A nice restaurant was in Zagreb to Yugoslav times already a problem and after 9pm, at least it still changes ... you are away and needs to take 9:30 PM, as we did end either in McDonalds or in the pizzeria ... The hotel is signposted (and everyone else in Zagreb) excellent, however, there is no real parking lots in the near (Mo-sa max. 2 Hours), leaving only had its own entrance from the underground parking with direct for €20 per day. The breakfast buffet is extensive but not particularly spectacular, I like but no breakfast rooms without direct daylight ... All in all: for Zagreb with its easy overpriced hotel prices not the worst choice!
