Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe have stayed at this resort 6 times, but we only can recommend it to those guests who have carefully thought about what they expect in advance. Mostly English and French, slowly more - but very few Germans. A large hotel area, quiet if you chose a full or at least a partial view of the ocean (otherwise noisy because of the busy flight corridor nearby), huge pools (some heated), large apartments, clean and friendly. Cleanliness at the pools sometimes left something to be desired - this was also due to the guests - and sometimes there were exceptions to the cleanliness of the plates.
Location
In comparison to the turbulent beach grills Los Cristianos and Las Americas, with the exception of the avoidable effects of the flight corridor (max. 4 km linear distance away), almost isolated between three golf courses, quiet, no hustle and bustle in the surrounding area. In exchange, a free shuttle bus 3 times daily to the above mentioned tourist traps. Excursions were offered everywhere, there was a small grocery stores nearby.
Service, housekeeping, friendliness all ok. German was only apoken at front desk.
Gastronomy
Half board was ok. A generous breakfast, but quite monotonous. At dinner, some of the plates weren't dry or not properly clean. Absolutely no expectations when it came to tips -the opposite is often true in Turkey, for example.
Sport & Entertainment
Spacious pools, well maintained; the sunbathing areas to the very pretty, small seawater area below the hotel complex absolutely have to be kept cleaner. In contrast to the tourist traps mentioned above, there was no real beach by the ocean and only very few paths along the ocean that weren't steep or rocky. Not suitable for handicapped people.
