Aparthotel Esperanza Park

The location is really unique. Right through the gate of the yard is the beach. Aside from the street with plenty of traffic (avoid apartments facing the street) loaded with stores selling tourist stuff, not much of note to experience.

The staff was always friendly and helpful - only the room cleaning was a bit modest. It probably depends mostly on who is taking care of the cleaning at any given moment.

The food was super - lots of selection and always varied. Those who complain about the food here are certainly those who always find something to pick at.

Well - we didn't really concern ourselves with exercise and entertainment. I should allude to the huge action-pool (with a lifeguard even); the kids never wanted to come back out.

The rooms were ok, unfortunately the air-conditioner made a ton of noise, so that we (in the bedroom) had to shut it off (sweat!!)

We actually wanted to book again in the Esperanza Park for 2007, because both we and our kids liked it so much; We booked the TUI-exclusive building already in July. Later came the sobering news this week: TUI didn't just raise the prices considerably for 2007, but also reduced the services offered for that price. You can no longer book all-inclusive, just half-board. As a comparison: 2 weeks in June 2006 with 2 kids all-inclusive was about 3000euro. For 2007 the trip is 200euro more expensive per person along with reduced amenities. We cancelled our reservation immediately.
