Aparthotel Ivory Playa

Mallorca is a cycling paradise, and the location is excellent for a variety of rides.
The beach is 50 yards from the hotel. Shops are a walking distance away.

Outstanding staff!
In general the staff was very friendly and helpful at the desk and in the dinning room. We ran into some problems with airlines changing our return flights and the staff took considerable effort in contacting the airlines and solving the problems.

Excellent food!
We opted for the dining service, breakfast and dinner.
We were a fairly large group (15) on a 10 day cycling vacation and the staff arranged the tables so we could all sit together. The food and service was outstanding, plenty of variety and fresh, healthy food. It was buffet style and seconds and even thirds (cycling burns a lot of calories) were no problem.

Mallorca is famous for its cycling, and the hotel has storage, rental and shop facilities for bicycles.
The hotel is clearly family oriented. While we were an adult group who spent most of the time from breakfast to supper outdoors cycling, we noticed many organized activities for children, from sitting service for toddlers and young children freeing the parents, to supervised group activities for school age through teen age children.
There is a large pool as well as a shallow supervised kiddie pool.

We rented a two room apartment which consisted of a bedroom with two beds, a large living area with two couches convertible for sleeping and a kitchenette with a table and chairs, a bathroom and a balcony with a table and four chairs. The room was modern, clean and fully equipped, air-conditioning, TV, stove, sink, refrigerator, dishes, table ware, pots etc., safe and telephone.

This is a must for cyclists. April is perfect weather for cycling and it is the low season so rates are dirt cheap.
