Pure relaxation - guests are very well looked after *

We had booked half board, an apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchenette on the 5th floor, a balcony and a sea view.
The rooms were spacious, very clean and obviously recently renovated.
The beds were particularly good, with nice new mattresses. Lots of young families in high season, mostly from Ireland, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany.
Location
Only about 200 meters from the sea, and about 1 hour by bus to the airport.
There is a supermarket and several shops nearby.
Very good bus links, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel.
It is a 15 minute drive to Alcudia and Port of Alcudia.
There are lots of excursions offered.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, and are multi-lingual.
They were always attentive and looked after us well, but they were never intrusive.
Gastronomy
Breakfast and dinner were served as a buffet.
Some of the menu (fish/meat) is freshly prepared.
The restaurant is very clean, nice service.
Sport & Entertainment
Large swimming pool, which was cleaned regularly.
Very good pool bar with nice staff.
The best entertainment we've experienced in over 30 years of travelling.
The programme changed every evening, and often there were external magicians, groups, singers etc. Lots of programmes for children, and adults too.
The entertainers kept the interested guests busy, and the kids adored them.
There was always different entertainment going on at the same time, but there was absolutely no pressure and nobody forced you to join in.
Definitely a highlight of our trip.
The one annoying thing - which was caused by the guests - was that the guests constantly reserved the loungers at the pool by putting their towels on them. It should have been made clear to the guests that that's not acceptable.
Room
Very good and spacious.
The air conditioning in the 5th floor had difficulties during the hot summer days when it was 40 degrees outside.
As everything had been renovated, it was in great condition.
Tips and recommendations
It was one of the best summer holidays we've ever had.
We would love to come back.
