Apartment hotel with great beach location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ABeach: great!: Location directly on one of the most beautiful places of the seven kilometer long sand! Clean and sufficiently large pool area directly on the beach adjacent. There were plenty of sunbeds available. Sports. Activities, such as kite surfing, surfing etc... accommodation: ideal is the combination of hotel-service included breakfast and living in an apartment. In the small kitchen area one could eat very well. Small 'Mini' markt in the basement of the hotel. Complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to the main village (fixed schedule with four tours for the day). Restaurant: The hotel offers a snack bar by the pool (outside)' what can be called a full restaurant. In the immediate vicinity there is another restaurant and a further 1 five-star hotel, with many facilities. Breakfast: Oh Yes; standard and no variation. At least almost every day fresh pineapple. You are not all too large requirements; cleanliness of the tables/table sets well; after all, it was earlier than criticised 'gefängnisartige' breakfast room on the ground floor in the meantime, another, friendlier breakfast clear. Apartment: perhaps it is different from the condition renovated apartments. There are also apartments privately owned, which we saw for example, estate agents in Funchaln on offer. Our apartment was obviously relatively newly renovated; new furniture, big enough for four people, state-of-the-art & quiet air conditioning!, So no complaint. Construction: previous reviews complain about loud construction activity in the house and in the neighboring plot! End August 2011 repairs are carried out on the premises & (. willing ended)! In the adjacent plot is a clearly oversized apartment/in the meantime the hotel emerged, which have not yet been occupied, with some minor construction completion against the drift... (in summer 2011 we have no impact. therefore) Location: to the main town of the small island is about 3-4 kilometer. For singles & couples is a vehicle such as a bike or scooter to be recommended! As a family with four persons is at least partly a rental car recommended. Shuttle service of the hotel unfortunately not served the harbor (Porto-Santo-line) and the airport! Services: Free Wi-Fi okay, '' rather small indoor seating, complimentary table tennis okay, relatively expensive billiards table rental, the souvenir shop 'was minimal' (not used); mini-market with relatively low offer, but at least sufficient for drinks/rolls/cold cuts/cheese; wellness center in the basement with gym, massages etc... (new!) there didn't try it. Price/performance ratio: the relatively low offer in Porto Santo is okay, compared to Funchal, but expensive!
