Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AWe booked an apartment in the apartment-complex Estrella del Norte in Icod de los Vinos in Icod de los Vinos. The price was a very convenient (29 euros per night for two persons), we thought when we arrived and hoped, that the room was more or less okay. But what we found our arts excursion options. At the reception they spoke German, the check in was done in a matter of seconds, the rooms were clean and spacious. We had an extra bedroom, and a bathroom, a large living room and dining room, in which a small kitchen was built up. In addition there was a couch, a coffee table, a tv with a few international channels, as well as a large dining table and a balcony with a view of the sea. But, as if that were not enough, was, as in the hotel, every day a cleaning strength in our room, made the bed, cleaned by, the, mostly used wash dishes offered pieces, back in the closet, aired and changed if necessary from Handtücer. It was really a service as in the hotel, and the for the price... Insanity, we thought. A small drawback however, the property is located in the rather small Icod de los Vinos, and at the top of a hill, which makes it not pleasant, for tourists, who do not have a car rented. But if you, like us, a car hire, this apartment complex is just perfect. In about 20 minutes you are in the beautiful Puerto de la Cruz, I would stay there anytime again.
