At the end of May this year we moved our had our study trip (we were in a larger group of high school students) to Athens. Apart from the location the rooms were in an acceptable condition. In the quadruple rooms as well as there was no bunk beds, the very stable impression made, and also the view was depending on the room different. either with relatively nice balcony looking out onto the street, or the concrete wall but in the back of the hotel in a very small backyard. Cleanliness was not perfect, for the price but acceptable. The breakfast was pretty bad. The white bread was OK, but there were only a ham and cheese, the not so very appetizing. Also the "orange juice" was like painted water and tasted very artificial. Positive was the free internet and the kiosk, directly across from the hotel.

The location is also a disaster to look at! 5 Minutes after we have gone up from the bus, and before warned us, is unfortuately already one of us Saying that its budget of two men. The area is notorious! Located in the middle days SYRINGES junkies, in an alley, next door to the hotel, your heroin. On the way to the Omonia Square (metro station) we met tons of under drugs standing prostitutes. The streets are always full of people, mainly Illegal, such as Pakistan, Nigeria ... We moved us to a larger group, but evening was the way from Omonia Square back to the hotel very dangerous. You could get easily paranoid. Although the hotel only two streets (maybe. 300 meters) away was, we are always took a cab back, the way back would be just too dangerous, but that does not have been an exaggeration! Avoid the Omonia Square and spend a little more, for example for a hotel in the Plaka (old town) from. It was really worth it!
