As overnight accommodation completely sufficient ... ! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ABasically no special accomodation ... but the staff was very friendly and raised the rather simple hotel standard.
If a room was desired in the middle of everything ... then super!
But if higher standard or comfort were important... then invest a few euros more!
But everyday fresh hand towels...a made bed and a basically clean room...more valuable as a mechanic lodging!!!
And the breakfast was very reasonable...definitely recommendable!
Location
For entertainment accommodation ...best !!!
As mechanic accommodation more preferred!!!
And right outside the door always something going on!
Only 100 meters until you reach "great freedom"!!!
For the 2 stars standard the staff service was already too good...could expect at the first sight of the hotel rather an old man in shabby suit than fresh young people with commitment and vision !!!
Gastronomy
In the immediate area there were different great cuisine highlights... but the hotel itself offered contrary to the first expectations even a good breakfast service.
Quality and quantity of the buffets were good!
The food was always fresh and plentiful available... even if someone came just before end in the breakfast room, he easily got full and fit for a busy day in Hamburg!!!

Room
According to the age, the single rooms were rather only suitable for down to earth guests!
But also always clean and neat!
Unfortunately there was no mini bar...for mechanics, who needed to keep snacks cool not very appropriate...but survived also a week!!!
Tips and recommendations
If on a weekend "just for fun" in the city, then this place was a good accommodation!!!
For mechanics... if booked with breakfast ...very pleasant.....above all from the location on one of the most important streets downton...the Kieler Strasse. So it was a relatively short trip everywhere!
Of course, the usual mechanic hotels were cheaper...but always...let us say...in the nature!!!
