Hotel Avista Kata, Phuket *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ARooms are very nice (super deluxe), no guaranteed sea view, no sunshades on the balcony. Complaints/suggestions/requests were handled with friendly smile, happen nothing more. The prices in the restaurant/pool bar are high and are quoted exclusive of VAT. The way to/from the town or the sea is only about a very steep street negotiable, unfortunately is not mentioned on the website. Very many Russian tourists by volume and inappropriate behavior. No dress code in the restaurant, breakfast can be taken up without men, very unappetizing!
