Beach Hotel!? Well *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A APovoa de Varzim is located about 30 kilometer north of Porto and is also a metro line (above ground) Terminus. Municipal Law attained the 1970igern and it is still growing! The city (on the other side of the kids old town) consists mainly of soles in concrete dream of the 'condo on the sea'; for me, not necessarily bad but perhaps not everyone/s taste-Mrs definitely not for three cent romantic! The 'axis vermar' is located directly on the (car in this area) Northern end of the beach promenade. The centre is about 15 minutes walk. There were a few beach bars in modern buildings in the area, direction centre one & other restaurant, otherwise is (at least in the warm October) rather nothing going on. In the summer it remembered but different. The hotel itself has 14 floors, the ground floor is quite spacious designed with front desk, lobby and restaurant/bar. There are four elevators (fast). The rooms; we had sea side (and there are balconies!), you (like the whole hotel) its Novotel-past (which & did nothing negative!). Our room in the 11. Floor was very spacious with third place to sleep/sofa, tv with the usual (German) programmes and a mini bar-Oh Yes; balcony, of course! Parking and wireless Internet are free. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the ground floor, the choice is for port. Standards wide, the coffee rather poor... In the outdoor area there is a pool with lounge chairs and you can open the door with the room card to the beach. All in all: Povoa de Varzim is located at the sea, but not the 'romantic' bean or whatever... If, like me, even at home in the 15. The top of the plate lives there's not so terrible; my companion thought it was building affine somehow different. The hotel itself is clean, tidy and not expensive!
