You'd be a fool not to stay at Heronshaw House
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOur stay at Hersonshaw House surpassed our expectations which were already high having viewed the website. Jenny & Craig gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and then proceeded to treat us like a king and queen throughout our stay. The room with a view over the rear garden and vegetable patch in the distance was tastefully decorated and furnished. The ensuite shower room had a lovely walk in shower. The drawing room is spacious and again very tastefully furnished, a pleasant place to while away the evening in front of the roaring fire after a sumptuous meal in the dining room. This brings me on to the food which is quite simply to die for. We had a three course evening meal cooked by the extremely talented Jenny. The meal was so good my husband and I struggle to remember when we have had a meal as good. Their food philosophy is that food should be natural with no trace of chemicals and then beautifully prepared to create a range of mouthwatering tastes and flavours. As I say you would be a fool not to experience this.
Location
Heronshaw House is located a short hop from Bournemouth Airport, but you really would have no idea because it is situated down a single track country lane and has a rural location. In addition the house is not under any flight path. You therefore feel as if you are staying in the middle of the countryside. For people travelling from the airport it could not be better located. For those wishing to explore the New Forest this is a short drive away. In fact within easy driving distance are a range of landscapes and two counties. Heronshaw House is therefore in a great location from which to go exploring and because of the variety of landscapes within your grasp no two days need be the same.
As I said Jenny & Craig treated us like royality.

Nice sized room with a pleasant view. Coffee / tea machine. No TV, which I personally found refreshing. TV available in the drawing room.
