Very nice hotel at a decent price near Gaslamp *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A ANice big and right in the middle of San Diego located hotel with large rooms, pool, free internet both in the lobby and in the room. The hotel made a well kept impression and you were always treated in a friendly welcome. We had breakfast included in the price.
Location
The hotel is centrally located. The sea where the navy and museum ships (U. A. USS Middway) are only 10 minutes walk. In the town to the Gaslamp really nice with lots of bars and restaurants and shopping are about 25 minutes.
The staff is very friendly and check in and check out were very good. Parking is available at the hotel for $10 .
Gastronomy
As I said, we had breakfast included. This was not right in the hotel, but you coupons for the cafe next door. There was the rush quite large, so that you had to wait a bit to get a table. We have just had a coach before us. The breakfast was OK. There was buffet (eggs, english muffins, sausage, potatoes). You had to the meals were all additional seasoning. But very good sat in the café.
Sport & Entertainment
The hotel has a small pool which was located directly behind the lobby. So everyone could the checking in to keep an eye. Reasons We didn't try it.
Room
Rooms were large and well appointed. Bathroom was a good size and the room was clean. The two queen beds were very large.
Tips and recommendations
Go to the San Diego Zoo, it was worth it. Parking is free, so you could drive. were also at Sea World, but the zoo has were much better.
