Clean hotel in a beautiful beach location *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AOn our trip through California, we chose this hotel on the internet starting point for things to do in San Diego. The hotel is very nice to walk along the beach (windy) location. It offers a swimming pool with a small terrace, and a Jacuzzi. Both were behind glass geared toward the sea. Our room was not any more the newest, but still in good condition with balcony and clean. We had a partial view of the ocean. If possible you should try and get a room with direct sea view, since the lateral sea view the view on backyard or other other building is not great. But with a city journey one spends usually won't spend much time in the room. We had booked a king size bed, but then actually more like a queen size bed get, which for three nights, which we spent there was fine. In the lobby there is the possibility to have breakfast, this but it costs extra. Parking on the Hotel parking lot is currently twelve USD per night, which compared to many other cities in the US West Coast is cheap. In walking distance there were supermarkets and some very nice restaurants (with a roof terrace and patio heaters). In the heart of San Diego takes you about 20 minutes by car. There were in the 'gaslamp quarter' other lots of nice restaurants, to sit outside as well. As things to do we can highly recommend the San Diego Zoo, one of law as one of the best in the United States. Where you can spend 1 day easily. Also very nice is the Balboa park with various museums. The you should plan rather in the morning, as the museums of the afternoon open for so long. Very interesting was the aircraft carrier USS Midway, about 3-4 hours for which one can plan.
