Unclean musty rude! *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AAfter a tour of the US we decided to look for a few days (6 ) in San Diego relax and chose this hotel because of a good location and good reviews in this forum. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. When we checked in it was already dark and we could unfortunately not really a picture of this hotel. The staff was not very friendly at check-in. Parking only against extra charge. Although it was free parking in front of the hotel, but because the. The small number quickly occupied. Our room was very smelly and the curtains had stains and were moldy. The desired ocean view was available but from the side. in the evening as we decided to leave the next day. When we checked in we made the mistake we said the would love to stay on 6 days so that when checking out we were met by a juicy fee of $100 plus tax ($131 ) had to pay. Much more than a night. On request, since we had booked yesterday for 6days, was also not accomodating or showed some accomodating. !!! OK our mistake we signed but not fair!!! Our points as Best Western customer were we have not credited.

Right on the beach (promenade) Many restaurants nearby.
Staff were rude foreign languages no (in America usual) but little effort to speak clearly. The rooms were musty and unclean. (Curtains with mold spots and) handling of complaints was poor. For example. because no firm's expense. Cancellation fee.
