Typical Best Western motel *
Enlarge letters A A Downsize letters A AThe hotel is located next to Highway 160 , edge toward Cortez, it is a typical American motel (outside door) with 71 rooms on two floors. It is a mile to the city center. Rate includes a continental breakfast, what the Amerikakenner typical (coffee, tea, toast, Baggels, waffles, eggs, bacon), for the Europeans used to.
Location
The hotel lieht right off Highway 160 . To the city center and the famous train station and not even a 5 minutes by car. Right next to the hotel is a restaurant.
Check in was absolutely friendly and it was immediately explained everything. The room cleaning was ok.

The hotel has a swimming pool, but I didn't use it.
Room
The room was very spacious and clean. It was equipped with all necessary (TV, air-conditioner, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board). Wireless Internet access was available. The only negatives are the poorly sound-proofed walls, but typical of American motels in this construction styles.
Tips and recommendations
If the Nostalgiezug between Durango and Silverton will be used: Absolutely reservation needed. Alternatively, very nice pictures of this if you drive it toward Silverton going by car and it on the beginning photographed parallel way.
